Please Join Us!

Bonus for Exhibitors (and Members) - By signing up, you will be eligible for discounts on most of our GWBdFC sponsored seminars and workshops.

Events and Activities

Competitions - Our most popular event is the ALL BREED Obedience & Rally Trials which are held two or three times per year (you don't have to be a member to participate in this). We also sponsor Fast Cat and Carting for Bouviers. The GWBdFC is very involved in promoting AKC events and will help you enjoy and achieve your competition goals. To learn more, please visit our Event Types page.

Seminars and Workshops - From time to time, our club organizes and hosts informative seminars and workshops to help you improve your understanding and skills to better show and care for your Bouvier. These may include grooming, carting, training and health. Members may also receive a special discount to attend these events.

Board Meetings - Meetings are held several times throughout the year and all members are welcome to attend. Active members may vote and run for office while Associate members may not. Board nominations and elections are held in the fall.

All members are encouraged to ask questions and offer suggestions at these meetings and you are also welcome to Contact Us online any time.

Having Fun Together

While our club is pretty darned serious about events and the welfare of all dogs, Bouvier des Flandres in particular, we are not devoted to all work and no play. As we like to say, "Come, Sit and Stay" in our party invitations. Relax a bit, too.

Summer - Our wonderful members host two summer parties each year. We are lucky to have the Kramers host a pool party at their lovely home with all the amenities. Great food and drinks for the humans and plenty of fenced-in room for dogs to run and play. Be sure to bring your swim suits and enjoy a dip or a float in the pool. Yes, dogs are welcome to attend this one.

A relaxing BBQ is hosted by our dedicated Board Members, the Barrons, at their peaceful country home. Grilled goodies are provided with guests bringing snacks, side dishes and desserts. Plenty of beverages are on hand as well. Play croquet or just sit and chat in their well-tended garden.

Winter - Of course, our club would be remiss without a Christmas Party. We exchange "mystery" gifts and there is even a wine basket to be won in our free raffle. We end the year and kick-off the new one with a meeting to review our past and future successes. As always, an array of tasty food and drinks are gathered for celebrating the season.
